C. Deni Morris, Senior Association Manager, joined Duvall Investment Group, Inc., AMO® team in early 2002 as assistant property manager for the Condominium Association Management Division. Deni came to Duvall Investment Group, Inc., AMO® with residential leasing and management experience. Deni has served as assistant property manager for the Commercial Management Division and has recently become a senior manager for the Association Management Division. Nicole Tonelli, Senior Association Manager, joined the Duvall Investment Group, Inc., AMO® team in July 2005 as a property manager for the Association Management Division. Nicole graduated from Davidson College with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Nicole was promoted to Senior Association Manager in May of 2006 and currently oversees Association Managers in the management and operation of nine properties in the Charlotte and Winston-Salem areas. Traci Malecki, Association Manager, joined Duvall Investment Group, Inc., AMO® team in February 2007. She graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Michael P. Taylor, Association Manager, joined the Duvall Investment Group, Inc., AMO® team in December 2007 as a property manager for the Association Management Division. Michael recently graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business in May 2007. Mike Ciriello, Association Manager, joined Duvall Investment Group, Inc., AMO® team in January of 2008. He received a Master’s degree from North Carolina State University in Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning. Mike played a leading role in several award-winning town planning, urban design, and public landscape projects, including the National Botanical Gardens for the Turks and Caicos Islands; the Town of Green Level, NC’s Municipal Parks Plan; the Knightdale, NC Environmental Education Park and Comprehensive Master Plan; and in Raleigh, NC, the Governor Morehead School for the Blind Gardens and the redesigned historic Hillsborough Street. Mike also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International and Public Affairs from George Washington University and has lived, worked, and studied extensively around the world. Until recently, Mike managed the 1000+ unit Skybrook master planned golf course neighborhood in Huntersville. Yasemin Tanrikulu, Association Manager, joined Duvall Investment Group, Inc., AMO ® team in January 2008. She is a recent graduate from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a minor in French. Yasemin spent one year working as a Human Resources Manager prior to joining Duvall. Yasemin is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of TradeMark Condominiums and Walnut Hill. NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND MARKETING
John Hopkins, Director of New Business Development & Marketing, joined Duvall Investment Group in February of 2005. John is a graduate of Winthrop University with a degree in Communications and a minor in Social Science. Since his employment with Duvall, John has served in varying roles. Some of these roles include the creation an internship program for the top seniors in local university programs, the management of the conversion of 300+ apartments into upscale condominiums, and the association management of several premier properties within Uptown Charlotte and Myers Park. Additionally, John played an integral role in expanding Duvall’s management portfolio to the Winston-Salem area with the direct management of two properties in this location. In December of 2007, John was promoted to serve in a new role as the Director of New Business Development and Marketing. Within this role, John handles all marketing aspects of the company including focused marketing of Duvall’s services in condominium/homeowner association management and commercial property management to new and existing properties. Kim Cox, Office Manager, joined the Duvall Investment Group, Inc., AMO team in December of 2006 as the Executive Services Assistant. She is thriving in her area of work and was promoted to Office Manager in October 2007. Kim has worked in the Administrative/Clerical field for over 10 years and is currently pursuing a degree in Business and Human Resource Management. Wendy Laxton, Chief Financial Officer, began with Duvall Investment in October 2006. Wendy has over 20 years of experience managing financial, technology, human resource, and risk solutions. Wendy has also held leadership positions in prominent civic organizations, including Leadership Charlotte and Women Executives. Her business accomplishments and community leadership have led to her being recognized by the Charlotte Business Journal in 2004 as a Women in Business Achievement Award winner and in 2003 as a “40 Under 40”.
Jessica Austin has been a member of the Accounting team since 1998. Jessica currently serves as the Accounts Payables Specialist, handling all of the payable functions for in excess of thirty accounts. Jessica also oversees all human resource reporting and payroll functions for Commercial Real Estate Company. Jessica's accounting background includes credit support and investor accounting.

Howard M. Duvall, III, Founder and Principal
For over 30 years, Mr. Duvall has actively contributed to North Carolina’s commercial real estate development and expansion. As President of Duvall Investment Group, Mr. Duvall oversees all business strategy and operations for the company. Previously, he served in executive management roles with several real estate development and financing firms, including Little & Co., Huaca, Inc., Northwestern Financial Investors and Northwestern Advisory Corp, John R. Maddox & Associates, and, The Colony, Ltd. Duvall has served as developer and principal for more than 1.1 million square feet of commercial and mixed-use office space, more than 250 acres of residential and commercial subdivisions, and nearly 600 units of luxury apartments and condominiums. He is a member of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors.
Mary Wilken, CPM®, CCIM, CMCA, AMS—Chief Executive Officer
With over twenty years of real estate management experience, Mary Wilken serves as Commercial Real Estate Company’s Chief Executive Officer, overseeing all affiliates’ operations. Mary obtained the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation from the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers in 2004, the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute in 1998 and the Certified Property Manager® (CPM®) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1992. Receiving the distinguished designation of Certified Property Managerâ (CPMâ) in 1992, Ms. Wilken was named CPMâ of the Year in 1993 by the Western North Carolina Chapter of IREM. In 1998, she was designated as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. Mary has successfully managed more than 1,500,000 square feet of medical/general office space; 500,000 square feet of retail strip centers; and, 200,000 square feet of facility space; and multiple condominium associations.
